Sports journalist Wolfgang Golz in portrait


Wolfgang Golz works as a freelance journalist. Previously, he published articles in, among others, the "Ahlener Volkszeitung", the "Hamburger Abendblatt", was chief reporter on "Die Welt am Sonntag" and deputy chief editor in the Axel-Springer publishing house.
 
Golz reported on about 300 international football matches, from Olympia, and on five football World Championships, and received several prizes for journalism.
